Site Purpose
The purpose of this website/blog is to put Chester High School students and parents/guardians in contact with on-line supplemental materials for the Mathematics courses that we offer.
The majority of textbook the Mathematics Department use are published by Glencoe/McGraw-Hill. There are a variety of supplemental materials available, ranging from Self-Check Quizzes for every section of every chapter of the Glencoe texts to Self-Check Chapter tests. There are also Extra Examples for some texts as well as Parent Study Guides. Students and parents/guardians are free to use these resources without charge, as much as they desire.
Occasionally, these supplements are assigned as homework or extra-credit. When assigned, the students are allowed to complete the work at school as well as home for those students who do not have access to a computer or internet at home.
We highly recommend students and parent/guardians make use of these online resources to build confidence and support the work we do in the classroom.
